A stand-alone solar PV station converts light
into DC electric energy, and then charges the batteries via
controller. The output from the controller then supplies power to load.

A stand-alone PV system normally consists of
solar module array, battery, controller, DC/AC inverter,
power supply units and cabinets, low voltage connection, DC/AC load etc.
